Pilgrim Hat Cookies

We’re doing a dessert party for some of my family this year and we were in charge of cookies. Sure, we did the basics: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Cranberry White Chocolate Chip, and Reese’s Chip. But we also needed something fun and easy (definitely easy) that were kid-friendly and didn’t eat up (pun totally intended) a bunch more of my time. Enter the pilgrim hat cookies. There is no cooking, baking or prep involved unless you decide to make your own icing. But, I had some so I went the super easy route and used that. I adore that these add a little flair to the holidays in a way that the kids can help with!

Ingredients

Keebler Fudge Striped Cookies

Reese’s Miniatures

Reese’s Pieces

Icing (homemade or store-bought)

Directions

  • Turn a fudge stripe cookie upside down and pipe a circle of icing around the center.
  • Place a Reese’s mini on top of it, upside down to form the hat.
  • Put a dot of icing on a Reese’s piece and gently set it against the Reese’s mini.
  • That’s it! Let your kids glow with pride as your dinner guests ooh and aah over the cuteness!
